ReplyDeleteI could watch it on the other link. It was so great! Gracie did an excellent job as narrator and speeding up at the end was a great effect. I loved the puppets, Isaac. Lily made me laugh. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteSo creative! How did the Fuzzy Pizza name originate? This book is on my summer reading list, but maybe my daughter would enjoy it as well. Do you think it would make a good read aloud for a six-year-old?
ReplyDeleteWe've been saving the name "Fuzzy Pizza" for some time - two or three years perhaps - and we didn't have have a good reason to use it until now. One day, one of the kids made note that the word "Pizza" had two z's in it just like our last name "Zenz." We were trying to think of another two-Z example, and "Fuzzy" came to mind. As soon as we said the combo "Fuzzy Pizza" aloud, we new we had a name for something... a band or a blog... anything. Video production seemed like a good excuse to finally pull the name out of waiting.
ReplyDeleteI think "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" would be completely appropriate and entertaining for a 6 year old. Elijah loved it, and he's 5. It's one of those books with wide-age-range appeal. Probably even veering toward the younger side compared to other Newbery offerings. Of course, Isaac loved it too, and he's 12. A great book for the WHOLE family.
